Netflix is developing a 292-acre, $1 billion East Coast film and television production campus—Netflix Studios Fort Monmouth—on the former Fort Monmouth U.S. Army base in Oceanport, New Jersey. Planned for completion in 2028, the campus is designed to become one of the largest production hubs in the world. The nearly 300-acre development will include 12 state-of-the-art sound stages, production and office buildings, a hotel, theater, and a helipad. Demolition of existing military-base structures began in May 2025, marking the official start of site transformation.
