In addition to the initial project, Univision engaged us directly to lead and manage the in-house capital program supporting their three-year master plan—an initiative valued at more than $75 million. This strategic consolidation reduces five separate broadcast facilities (totaling 550,000 SF) into three newly renovated, 475,000 SF state-of-the-art centers for News, Sports, and Entertainment, all interconnected by a hardened subterranean fiber-optic ring to support high-bandwidth, cross-campus production workflows. The program includes ongoing renovations, systems modernization, space optimization, and the integration of complex broadcast, IT, and facilities upgrades—all executed while maintaining full on-air continuity. The work requires navigating challenges inherent to live production environments, including acoustical isolation, resilient engineering systems, and phased construction within occupied broadcast spaces.
Served (at prior employer) as the Owner’s Representative Project Manager with broadcast and production subject-matter expertise. Led construction, FF&E, owner-direct vendor coordination, scheduling, approvals, migration, occupancy, commissioning, punch list closeout, and the decommissioning of vacated existing spaces.
